CONSTRUCTION STAGE ANALYSIS OF SEGMENTAL BOX GIRDER BRIDGE

Segmental bridge construction is very common in Pakistan. However, the impact ofstructural system changes before and after completion of segmental achallenge major concern for stakeholders. Therefore, this study, stageanalysis was performed balanced cantilever technique to check safety andserviceability bridge. Through time dependent analysis, considering sequenceand creep deformation concrete, structural responses related member forces were reviewed.Moment reversal observed segments near face pier. Therefore,maximum compressive tensile stresses top bottom fibers girder,respectively. These within AASHTO LRFD limits stage loads.Results demonstrated that moment redistribution started when changedfrom statically determinate indeterminate stage. Furthermore, it concluded timedependent concrete governing factor order achieve final designmoments.
